2024-2025 Officers:

Commander

Bob Bencsko has been a member of the American Legion since 2007 and is currently the Commander of Paradise Post 149He was also one of the Post's Members-at-Large prior to that.  Bob served in the US Air Force from 1977 to 1997 as a member of a Titan II Missile Crew and later cross trained into Computers/Communications systems.  He is a  avid Amateur (Ham) Radio operator, a classic car enthusiast, and a motorcycle rider who is also an American Legion Rider.

1st Vice Commander

Pranava Moody has been a member of the American Legion since 2014 and is a Past Commander of Spirit of Freedom Post 76.  She is an Air Force Veterans who managed the Air Force Mortuary Affairs programs for Washington DC and surroundings.  She holds a Juris Doctorate, with a concentration in Dispute Resolution from the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  She is a graduate of the National American Legion College and has been a volunteer in numerous organizations such as the Scouting America and the American Red Cross.

2nd Vice Commander

Clifton Byley has been a member of the American Legion since 2010 and is currently the 1st Vice Commander of the Richard Springston American Legion Post 60 and the Sergeant at Arms for the American Legion Riders Chapter 60. Cliff served in the United States Army from 1991 to 1998 where he served as a Combat Engineer and a Motor Transport Operator.  Cliff recently retired from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department after 22 years of service.

Sergeant at Arms

Jeff Campbell has been a member of the American Legion since 2019, and is the Commander of BMI Post 40 in Henderson.

Adjutant

Michael Juoni has been a member of the American Legion since 2019 and is member of Paradise Post 149 currently serving as the Post Finance Officer.  He has also held the office of Member at Large for Post 149 as well as Adjutant for S.A.L. Squadron 149.  He served in the US Air Force from 1984 to 1988 as a Security Specialist in the Security Police Career Field.

Finance officer

Larry Higgins is a member of Post 27 in Sandy Valley, and has served as Post Finance Officer and Veterans Service Officer.  He was awarded Legionnaire of the Year for the state of Nevada in 2018.

Service Officer

Joe Meyer is an accredited American Legion Service Officer, and a member of Paradise Post 149.  He has been a member of the American Legion since 1990 and has been the Post 149 Service Officer for over ten years.  Joe served served as a US Army Green Beret for 22 years.

Judge Advocate

Vic "Doc" Moss has been a member of the American Legion since 2004 and is member of Paradise Post 149 currently serving as the Post Adjutant.  He has also has held the office of Post Commander, District 1st Vice Commander and Judge Advocate, Department Sgt at Arms, and several Department and National committees, and is a graduate of the National American Legion College.  He served in the US Air Force from 1982 to 2002 as a Munitions Systems Specialist (AMMO Troop) serving 14 years overseas.  Doc is an avid motorcycle rider and instructor, and is one of the original American Legion Riders in Nevada, helping establish the program in 2005.

Chaplain

Daniel McDonald is a member of Las Vegas Post 10 and has served as District Chaplain since 2021.  He is a Veteran of the US Army who served during Vietnam.
